According to a global study by the World Health Organization (WHO), “babies usually begin hands-and-knees crawling sometime between 6 and 11 months, and approximately half of all babies begin crawling by 8.3 month.” Most babies start walking between 8 and 16 months.
Children go through several developmental phase and stages before learning to walk. This includes sitting, crawling, pulling up, standing and falling down.
When your baby is at the stage of graduating from crawling to start walking, as parents (or parents-to-be) we are their best cheerleaders. That magical moments calls for lots of cheering… so the child can be encouraged to keep on trying. Like anything in life, it’s always best to practice, practice, practice.
