Anderson Cooper, 52, American celebrity media personality and political commentator, announces he’s now a Dad.
Cooper say he his eternally grateful for the surrogate who carried, cared for and gave birth to Wyatt Cooper, who was born Monday, weighing 7.2 pounds.
Wyatt Morgan Cooper was born with the help of a surrogate and is named after Cooper’s late father. “I hope I can be as good a dad as he was,” Cooper said.
Cooper, who is a gay, said he never thought it would be possible for him to have his own child. “I am so grateful for all those who paved the way, and for the doctors and nurses and everyone involved in my son’s birth,” he said.
