Anyone can be a father, but it takes someone very special to be a dad.

It’s Fathers Day 2020!

According to History.com, “Father’s Day was celebrated on June 19, 1910, in the state of Washington. However, it was not until 1972–58 years after President Woodrow Wilson made Mother’s Day official–that the day honoring fathers became a nationwide holiday in the United States. Father’s Day 2020 occurs on Sunday, June 21.”

Father’s Day is a celebration that honours the role of (wonderful) fathers around the world. It is an important day to celebrate fatherhood and the influence of fathers in our communities. Anyone can be a father, but it takes someone very special to be a dad.

Our message to fathers the world over on this glorious day — inspite of COVID-19 outbreak and the march against racism in America and cities around the world, is:

Being a loving, involved dad is the best thing you can do for your child!

As parents, Let’s be a Force for Good and bring up our children to make the world a better place.

Happy Father’s Day from all of us at #DadsAreSecial.
